On Saturday, May 11th, Mistras Group, conducted the annual NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Certification of Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company's (Station 20) Ladders. This certification inspection ensures that all apparatus ladders (including the 100 foot aerial ladder of Truck 20) are mission capable and safe for service at any fire/rescue incident. Several firefighters from Station 20 assisted the Mistras Technician in the performance of the inspection.
