During the morning of 27 March, Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) Firefighters under the command of Lieutenant 20, trained the new faculty members of the Goddard School on the proper techniques of using a Fire Extinguisher, and the immediate action procedures if a fire was to happen at the school. We covered the 3-A's of a fire incident: ACTIVATE 911, ACCOUNT for everyone outside, and ATTACK the fire if you have resources. The fire extinguisher acronym PASS was then covered. PULL the pin, AIM the nozzle, SQUEEZE the handle, SWEEP across the base of the fire. During the faculty training the pre-school students were given the opportunity to look at Rescue 20.
