At ~8:29 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to support Monroeville #4 for a report of smoke in the Corporate One Office Building on Monroeville Boulevard. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (6 firefighters including Assistant Chief 20), with Chief 20 going directly to the scene, and 2 firefighters manning the station. Truck 20 and Chief 20 arrived on scene. Corporate One Command directed Truck 20 to erect its 100 foot ladder to place a firefighter team on the structure's roof for inspection of the HVAC Rooftop Units, and provide firefighters and equipment for the firefighter entry teams. The odor was isolated to an office on the third floor of the structure. Once the structure was declared safe for reentry, Corporate One Command released Truck 20 for return to service and station.
