To the Residents and Businesses of the Municipality of Murrysville,

I am excited to formally announce that the Municipality of Murrysville and the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company #1 have signed a contract with the Sutphen Corporation of Dublin, Ohio to build our new 2022 mid-mount tower ladder truck. The details of the new Truck 20 are as follows:

- Model: 2022 Sutphen SPH-100 with a 73" Monarch Cab.
- Dimensions: Overall length - 47'6" Overall length, Height - 11'2", Wheelbase - 247", and Weight - ~ 66,000 pounds.
- Cab: 6-man
- Water Tank: 300 gallons
- Foam System: 30 gallons of foam concentrate with integrated FoamPro System
- Pump: 2,000 GPM (Gallons per Minute) Hale Pump
- Engine/Drive Train: Cummins ISX15 600 HP Engine with an Allison EVS 4000 Automatic Transmission
- 6KW Hydraulic on-board Generator
- Supply hose: 300" - 5"LDH (Large Diameter Hose) and 200' - 3" leader line hose on a 1,000 pound slide-out tray.
- Fully enclosed hose and ladder chute
- 2 - 200' 1 3/4 " preconnect attack hose lines and 1 - 200' 2 1/2" preconnect attack hose line
- 2 - MIV (Master Intake Valve) Valves
- 100-foot aerial platform with dual TFT (Task Force Tips) Master Streams
- 202 Feet of Ladders: 8' parapet ladder, 10' folding ladder, 16' roof ladder, 17' Little Giant ladder, 18' roof ladder, 2 - 20' roof ladders,
28' 2-section ladder, 30' 2-section ladder, and 35' 3-section ladder.
- Storage Space: 260 cubic feet of compartment space with custom compartment work and equipment mount by Fire & Marine of
Springfield, Ohio.

The new Truck 20 had an anticipated delivery date of August 2022.

Thank to the Truck Committee of Assistant Chief Pat O'Mahony, Captain Alex Vallo, Lieutenant Christian Dover, Firefighter Tom Ralston, Firefighter William Yant III and President Randy Marts for the their efforts over the past few years, as well as the company members who have participated in multiple demonstrations of various aerial apparatus, and have voiced their thoughts and opinions. Your time and efforts are appreciated.
