The Murrysville Fire Company offers a range of fire prevention services to better prepare the community in case of an emergency.

Station Tours
- Station tours can be arrange and given on an individual or group basis.
Talking At Local Schools And Daycares
- It's a proven fact that the kindergarten - elementary children we provide instruction to retain and remember the critical information of how to dial 911, stop drop and roll, and what to do in an emergency when faced with a crisis situation.
Conducting Building Inspections
- Conducting building inspections can be a two-fold accomplishment, first by providing the property owner a free - no cost evaluation of the practices and procedures they have in place to safeguard their property from fire or other forms of disasters. Secondly, it gives the Fire Company an opportunity to pre-plan the building and identify special hazards or considerations in the event of a fire or emergency.

Supervising Fire Drills
- Our Company can provide supervision and insight concerning fire drills and the safe evacuation of occupants from schools, office buildings, assisted living facilities, high-rise apartments, public assembly areas and even multi and single family residence.
- Often times we can assist in modifications to any plan that will assist all parties and ensure the safety of all people through the duration of the emergency.
Fire Extinguisher Training
- Our Company members can provide supervision and training for the proper use of fire extinguishers.
- Often times it will take the fire company 5 to 10 minutes to arrive on the scene of an emergency. Knowing the proper techniques to effectively use an extinguisher on a small fire may mean the difference between a catastrophic loss and an easy to control small scale incident.
