On 28-29 August, Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) had the annual maintenance, service and pump testing performed by F.A.S.T. (Fire Apparatus Service Technicians) of Somerset, PA. The annual service and pump testing for Truck 20, Engine 20, and Rescue 20 is a vital part of the MVFC Maintenance Program in conjunction with monthly truck/equipment checks, and post-call maintenance. The Station 20 Maintenance Program ensures that its firefighters will have trucks and equipment that are at the highest levels of material readiness when responding to fire/rescue incidents in its own district or in support of other stations.
