First call of 2025

Firefighter Tom Ralston, January 02

First call of 2025 . Westmoreland 911 dispatched station 20 ,22,64,78. for a reported oven fire on Seneca ct in Murrysville. Chief 20 was first to arrived to find the fire out and light smoke in the home. Squad 22 truck 20 attack 64 and engine 78 all called enroute. Station 20 - September 2024 Update

During the month of September, the Firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company #1 (Station 20) answered 31 fire/rescue calls including 2 structure fires, and several multi-vehicle collisions within our primary response area for a total of 385 calls during 2024. During the evening of 31 Jully 2024, the Firefighters of Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company), and Station 22 (Export Volunteer Fire Department) attended a Forcible Entry Class provided by the Westmoreland County Fire Academy held at Station 20.
