By Secretary Mike Cline
July 11, 2019

At ~ 12:25 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of storm flooding at a home on Tarr Hollow Road. Station 20 responded with Assistant Chief 20 and Sergeant 20 going to the scene, and 2 firefighters at the station prepared to bring equipment to the scene. Upon arrival at the scene, Assistant Chief 20 established command, and found the Sanitary Sewer Transmission Line along Tarr Hollow Road had overflowed into the home's basement due to a heavy rain storm. Command 20 notified Westmoreland 911 to have the Franklin Township Municipal Sanitary Authority respond to the location to remediate the incident. Command 20 released all Station 20 personnel and equipment for return to service.
