At ~ 4:23 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of an electrical transformer on fire along Trafford Road. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (4 firefighters) with Assistant Chief 20 and Captain 20 responding to the scene, and an additional firefighter manning the station. Engine 20 and Assistant Chief 20 arrived on scene, with Assistant Chief 20 establishing command. Upon investigation there was no evidence of a transformer on fire or downed electrical wires in the area. The situation was relayed to Westmoreland 911, and Command 20 released Engine 20 to respond to another call on Sardis Road.
