At ~10:59 AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Prides Court. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (4 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), Truck 20 (2 firefighters), with 1 firefighter manning Station 20. Also dispatched for this incident were: Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), and Station 9 (Level Green VFC). Engine 20 was the first unit on scene, Lieutenant 20 established command, and found no smoke or fire coming from the structure. Upon investigation it was found that the AFA System had activated a false alarm. Command 20 cancelled all responding units, with Engine 20 and Truck returning to service and station.
