A ~12:44 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report a smell of natural gas in the vicinity of Atrias Restaurant on William Penn Highway. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (2 firefighters) with Chief 20 and Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene. Chief 20 was first on scene, and upon survey of the reported area there was no indication of natural gas in the atmosphere. Chief 20 cancelled Station 20's response, and Truck 20 returned to station and service.
