By Firefighter Mike Cline
June 4, 2018

At ~12:31 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) for a multiple vehicle accident at 4251 Old William Penn Highway. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (4 firefighters), with Chief and Lieutenant 20 responding to the scene, and Chief 64 responding to the scene (in Station 20's District at the time). Upon arrival of Rescue 20, Murrysville Police and Medic One were on the scene, and all three vehicles (drivable) had moved off the scene to a nearby parking lot. Station 20 personnel clear debris, remediated dropped fluids from the accident scene, and inspected all vehicles involved to ensure no hazardous materials were leaking (no hazardous materials). Murrysville Police released Rescue 20 for return to station.
