At ~3:05 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) to assist Station 102 (Washington Township Volunteer Fire Company) at a Multiple Vehicle Auto Accident at PA Route 366 and Dolly Lane in Washington Township. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (6 Firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with 2 additional firefighters on standby at Station 20. Upon approach to the scene, Rescue 20 was directed to assist Engine 78 with Helicopter Landing Zone Operations for two incoming MEDEVAC Flights for patients from the accident. Upon completion of the MEDEVAC Operations, Engine 78 released Rescue 20 for return to station.
